Pilates became part of my life at 14 already, when I had personal training with an ex-dancer who taught me how much pilates could enhance dance skills, help you develop full body awareness and teach you to use its full capacity, by fine training specific muscle groups. Continuing to use Pilates during my whole life, I completed the Polestar Pilates Mat instructor course in 2015 and did some further education for pre/post-natal, mat variation, and anatomy in movement. Through training and teaching I realized how Pilates could not only help with posture, tension, mobility and strength, but helps you understand and reconnect with your body, and brings you a general feeling of well-being.
